Our courses are customized to meet the demand for training and improvement of actors in the Judiciary, especially magistrates and civil servants.
Research
Our research projects are empirical, multi and interdisciplinary, transnational in nature and are based on our belief that it is the task of jurists to re-establish the connections between law and the social sciences, philosophy, history, the epistemology of science and the arts.
Integrate
No prejudice survives a coffee with the other! We plan, organize and manage international scientific meetings, lectures and academic workshops, both in Brazil and in Latin American countries, according to the demand and dreams of our client institutions.

WHO WE ARE
Founded by the writer, lecturer, researcher and lawyer Plauto Cardoso, based on his belief that peace can only be achieved through joint legal training, the mission of the PLAUTO CARDOSO TEACHING & RESEARCH INSTITUTE is to build bridges between the academia, public and private actors and serve as an instrument for the full exercise of citizenship well beyond the limits of nationality.
Our courses are conceived on the premise that Law was never thought to be synonymous with national jurisprudence and that civilisational advances can only be achieved through joint legal training, with a strong belief that Human Rights are emancipatory instruments and our transnational ethical, moral and civilising pillar.
Our focus is the analysis of political and state structures through socio-legal research to generate data-backed solutions that foster real and not imagined, fantasised changes.
Our greatest satisfaction is the construction of bridges for the sharing of best transnational institutional practices between the academia, private and public agents, with the aim of integrating the way we think, create, interpret and apply the law.

PROJECTS
New Law School
This is an incredible project. Our challenge is to help structure a Law School for the Minas Gerais Association of Judges (AMAGIS) that is complementary to the mission and objectives of the Judicial Law School that already exists in the state. The new School will seek joint action with Public Law Schools and will propose actions for associates and family members, in addition to specific courses designed for the general public.
It will be an integrative space to foster the return of judges' in-person contact with their counterparts as well as the engagement of their families with the Association.
An internationalised School, integrated with its peers and the academy in Latin America and Europe, and that may open up educational opportunities for judges and their families.
